Eating the Rainbow

Share

Eating a rainbow of colours in our daily diet is an easy guide to ensure we are getting the nutrients, phytochemicals and fibre to keep us healthy.

We all get used to eating and buying the same fruit and vegetables each week. A simple check in can help you to see if there are any colours you might be missing out on. Each different colour in our fruits and vegetables provide different nutrients that keep our body and minds functioning well.

These include:

  • Purple/Blue
  • Reds
  • Orange/Yellow
  • Green
  • Brown/White

What does your rainbow look like? Are there any colours missing?
