Regardless of the modality I am utilising in treating you, I aim to prioritise your needs to help dispel your discomfort.

My treatment philosophy it to target the root cause while identifying and assisting in removing any other issues at hand. Whether it be physical, mental or spiritual.  An illness manifests itself differently in every body, because every body is different, literally. That is why I will create a unique holistic treatment plan just for you.

I also utilise a combination of classical Chinese needling techniques with modern day acupuncture techniques, with the utilisation of deep/soft tissue work to assist with your relief. I specialise in traumatological conditions that are chronic/acute such as sciatica, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, neck pain and more.  But I also can treat any general issues causing discomfort in the body such as headaches, digestion issues, mental health, insomnia, shortness of breath, fatigue, chest tightness and more.

At the end of each treatment, I hope my treatment will bring not just a smile to your face but also knowing what was causing you pain yesterday, is no more.

WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?

Acupuncture is the practice of applying needles to specific points in the body called acupuncture points
to elicit a response to heal the body.

Acupuncture is one of the treatment modalities from Traditional Chinese medicine, that means it also follows
Traditional Chinese medicinal theory, which aims to view the body holistically and
syndrome differentiation (summary of all collected signs and symptoms into a syndrome).

The aim of acupuncture is to balance the channels (each pertaining to a specific organ in the body).
Meaning, if there is a deficiency in a specific channel, the goal is to adjust it, if the channel is in excess
then the goal is to clear/expel/remove the blockage.

In Traditional Chinese medicinal theory isolated symptoms are viewed differently compared to an western medicinal (orthodox) point of view.
As when treating holistically other signs and symptoms are taken into calculation, therefore trying to treat the root cause,
such as correcting the imbalanced channels.
