Your Health

There is a range of ways that we can support you to improve your health:

Women's Wellness

We are experienced and passionate about helping women be actively involved in managing health conditions including (but not limited to) cancer, bone health, chronic disease management, endometriosis and PCOS, pelvic floor issues, pregnancy and infertility, menopause and midlife, and weight management.

Men's Health

We are committed to addressing the unique health needs of men, supporting them with heart and metabolic health, chronic pain, cancer, chronic disease management, pelvic health and weight management. Our philosophy is to keep it simple and uncomplicated to allow you to experience the type of lifestyle you want.

Pelvic Health

Whether you're a man or a woman, understanding and taking care of your pelvic floor is crucial for overall wellbeing. Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists are here to support you in managing your pelvic health and can develop an individual exercise program appropriate for your symptoms.

Weight Management

Managing your weight can be challenging and emotional with all the conflicting information and advice that we hear. There is no magic pill and if it sounds too good to be true it is. Long term weight management is about making small changes to our lifestyle with both diet and exercise.

Chronic Disease Management

Living with a chronic condition can affect your energy, confidence, and quality of life. At True North Wellness, our Accredited Exercise Physiologists provide safe, personalised exercise programs designed to help you manage symptoms, improve function, and feel more in control of your health.

Diabetes Management

Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been managing it for years, we can offer personalised, evidence based exercise and nutrition plans for type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes that can help to improve blood sugar control and enhance your overall wellbeing.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Whether you are recovering from a heart event or managing a chronic condition, working with our Exercise Physiologists can be a powerful step toward better heart health. We provide safe and personalised exercise interventions to support your recovery, manage risk factors and improve your quality of life.

Injury Management and Rehabilitation

When recovering from an injury or surgery, it is important to get the right support to get you back into life. Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists work with your health team to advance your recovery and prescribe an exercise program that is tailored to your needs.

Managing Persistent Pain

Persistent pain (or chronic pain) is the leading cause of disability in Australian, and the evidence is now very strongly in favour of exercise. At True North Wellness, we can assist you in increasing your activity in a manner that is safe and effective for you as an individual to help get back your quality of life.

Pregnancy and Post Partum

During pregnancy and postpartum recovery, it is important to get the right support to help you thrive. Our Exercise Physiologists are women's health experts that can help guide you in a healthy pregnancy and when returning to your desired activity levels postpartum, by providing safe, evidence-based exercise programs.

Children

Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists can provide early, evidence-based interventions to help enhance your child's development and improve their physical literacy. We also assist children with complex health conditions such as asthma, ADHD, ASD, childhood obesity, mental health and physical and intellectual disabilities.

Long Covid Rehabilitation

Long COVID (or Post COVID-19 Condition) can have a huge impact on your ability to achieve daily activities and experience quality of life. We work with individuals who have Long COVID and might be managing symptoms from fatigue to shortness of breath to mental health challenges (and everything in between).

Cancer Care

Our EP's specialise in cancer management and work with individuals with many different types and stages of cancer, such as during and after treatment. Our private exercise environment allows for a safe and welcoming experience for people with cancer and who might perhaps be immune compromised.

Lung Conditions

Whether you’ve been living with a respiratory condition for years or are newly diagnosed, we deliver personalised, evidence-based exercise programs that support respiratory health, particularly effective as part of pulmonary rehabilitation for chronic lung conditions such as COPD, asthma and bronchiectasis.
