Group Exercise Classes

The clinic offers a range of group classes including Pilates (Core Control), Functional Fitness, StrongFIT, Strong and Steady, Onero (Strong Bones), Hydrotherapy and Mindfulness/Meditation. We have a solid group class timetable with an option to suit a range of abilities, experience and health conditions. These group classes are all supervised by an exercise professional who can ensure that you are performing correct technique, at a level that is safe and effective for you, keeping the session as individualised as possible for everyone involved.

Each of our classes are a little different and cater to different individuals. Have a think about which one might suit you!

Functional Fitness

Functional Fitness is designed to cater for people getting back into exercise. It focuses on functional strength, balance and cardiovascular exercise in a circuit format. It caters for a range of levels and conditions including diabetes, cardiovascular and chronic lung conditions. (Lungs in Action and Heart Move participants are welcome)

StrongFIT

Strong Fit is designed for participants who want to improve their strength and endurance. All classes cater to individual levels and include strength and cardio combinations in a circuit format.

OneRO

Onero™ exercise program, is an evidence based exercise class developed through The Bone Clinic to help manage osteoporosis. It is for individuals looking to optimise their bone health, either through prevention or management of osteoporosis or osteopenia.

Strong & Steady

Strong & Steady is a class aimed at falls prevention. It is designed to improve your balance and strength, increasing your confidence on your feet. This class is run in a circuit format.

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is a great way to get you back into moving. You can do things in water that you may not be able to do on land. Hydrotherapy is great for improving mobility, strength, balance and flexibility. Hydrotherapy is available for one one and group sessions. Our private pool at Brendale provides privacy and is heated to 31 degrees.

Pilates / Core Control

Core control focus on strengthening your core and pelvic stability muscles to support you in everyday movements. Ideal for people with lower back pain or clinical needs.

Mindfulness and meditation

A guided Meditation followed by some gentle Mindful Movement. No experience necessary. All welcome.

Pricing for Classes

  • Casual Class: $22.00 per class (10 sessions $185)
  • Pensioner or Student: $19.00 per class (10 session $170)
  • Individual Pilates Assessment or Instruction: $60 (30 minutes)

10 session cards can be used for all group classes including Pilates and Mindfulness/Meditation. We also have unlimited monthly pass membership options available.
